If your 2022-2024 Mazda CX-5 needs a new fender liner, this front left fender liner is the direct replacement to look at first. A missing or broken splash shield is easy to ignore, but it allows water and salt to spray directly into areas that were never designed to be exposed. You can compare other options in our fender liners and splash shields range. This liner is shaped for the CX-5’s wheel well so it follows the factory contour and lines up with the original fastener locations.

Signs that the liner needs replacing include torn or missing sections, a liner that hangs down and rubs the tire, broken mounting tabs and missing fasteners. A damaged liner can also make extra road noise and let water spray onto parts that should stay dry, so it is worth replacing as soon as the damage is found.

Compatibility covers the Mazda CX-5 from 2022 through 2024. It is for the driver side (left) of the vehicle. The OEM reference number is KPF156140. Partslink interchange: MA1248158. Fitment and Installation Notes for the CX-5 Liner

Most liners can be replaced with basic hand tools. Raise the vehicle safely or turn the wheels for access, remove the old liner and its fasteners, and clean out any built-up debris in the wheel well. This part uses a clip-on attachment, so in most cases no drilling is needed. Fit the new liner into the opening and secure it at the original mounting points, replacing any broken clips at the same time.

Inner fender liners are often overlooked, but they play an important role in protecting the engine bay and inner body from water, salt and debris. A liner that fits the factory mounting points stays secure and is less likely to rub against the tire. It is a good idea to check the opposite side and replace any broken fasteners at the same time.

Replacing both sides at once keeps the finish matched, and the Mazda CX-5 front right fender liner is available for the opposite side. While this area of the CX-5 is apart, it is a good time to check related parts such as the front left fender for the Mazda CX-5. Ordering the parts you need together saves time and lets you finish the repair in one visit to the shop.

For a repair that looks right and fits the factory mounting points, this front left fender liner for the 2022-2024 Mazda CX-5 is a straightforward choice. Order it with confidence once you have confirmed your fitment details.
