Headlights do more than light the road. A cloudy, cracked or water-filled lens reduces visibility at night and can also cause a failed inspection. Browse the full range of headlights and headlamp assemblies if you are fixing more than one vehicle. Replacing the complete assembly on your Silverado is often the most reliable fix, since it restores the housing, lens and mounting tabs in one step.

Typical reasons for replacing a lighting part include cracked or cloudy lenses, water or condensation inside the housing, broken mounting tabs and damage from a minor collision. A damaged unit can reduce visibility, fail inspection and let moisture reach the electrical connections.

Installation and Fitment Notes for Your Silverado Headlight

Before installing, compare the connector and mounting tabs with your original part. Disconnect the vehicle battery or switch off the lights, remove the fasteners holding the old unit, unplug it and fit the new one in the same position. Check that the unit is seated correctly and that all lights work before refitting any trim. Headlights should be aimed after installation.

Lighting parts affect safety as well as appearance, so make sure the replacement is the correct type for your trim level and that the connector matches the original. Check for moisture or damage in the surrounding area during installation, and confirm that all functions work before driving.

Replacing both sides at once keeps the finish matched, and the Chevrolet Silverado right projector LED headlight assembly is available for the opposite side. If neighboring parts were damaged at the same time, we also stock the 2022-2024 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 chrome front upper grille. If you are not sure about fitment, have your VIN and the number from your original part ready before you order.
