For Chevrolet Camaro 2016-2024 Front Fender Panel Right Side

Description

2016-2024 Chevrolet Camaro Front Right Fender Panel: Direct-Fit Replacement

Restore the original look and function of your 2016-2024 Chevrolet Camaro with this front right fender panel for the passenger side. It is built as a vehicle-specific replacement for owners and repair shops who need a part that matches the factory design instead of a universal piece that has to be modified to fit. This part replaces OEM part number 23221296.

The front fender is one of the most commonly replaced panels after a collision. A dent or crease in the fender changes the gap to the hood, door and bumper, and rust along the wheel arch only gets worse with time. For other vehicles and positions, see our fender replacement parts. Replacing the panel is often faster and cleaner than repairing heavy damage, and it gives the body shop a straight surface to prepare and paint.

A panel usually needs replacing rather than repairing when the metal is creased along a body line, torn, stretched or rusted through. Heavy filler work on a damaged panel can crack later and rarely matches the factory shape, while a new panel gives a straight, consistent surface for paint and correct gaps to the surrounding parts.

Compatibility covers the Chevrolet Camaro from 2016 through 2024. It is for the passenger side (right) of the vehicle. The OEM reference number is 23221296. Partslink interchange: GM1241399. If your Camaro needs other work, our selection of Chevrolet body parts and trim covers many more repairs. Matching the part number on your original part is the quickest way to confirm you have the right replacement.

The main details of this replacement are listed below so you can check them against your vehicle. It comes primed, ready for the body shop to prepare and paint in your vehicle color. It is made from steel, like the panel it replaces. This is the right-hand (passenger side) part; the opposite side is sold separately. It replaces OEM number 23221296 and cross-references to Partslink GM1241399. It is listed for the 2016-2024 Chevrolet Camaro.

Paint Prep, Fitment and Installation Notes

This panel is a body-shop style replacement. It should be test-fitted before paint so that panel gaps to the surrounding parts can be checked and adjusted. Once fitment is confirmed, the panel can be prepared, painted to match the vehicle color and installed using the original mounting hardware where it is in good condition.

Body panels affect how the whole vehicle looks, so take the time to check alignment carefully before final installation. Small adjustments at the mounting points make a big difference to the gaps with the surrounding panels. Using a part designed for the Camaro reduces the amount of adjustment needed compared with a universal or modified part.

For the opposite side of the vehicle, choose the 2016-2024 Chevrolet Camaro driver-side fender. To complete the repair, many owners also replace the Chevrolet Camaro front right inner fender liner. If you are not sure about fitment, have your VIN and the number from your original part ready before you order.

When you order, double-check the model year, the position on the vehicle and, where shown, the OEM reference number. Matching these details is the simplest way to make sure the replacement arrives ready to install on your Chevrolet Camaro.

Choose this fender when you want a direct replacement for your Chevrolet Camaro rather than a universal part. Confirm the year and side, then add it to your order.
