For Mazda CX-9 2016-2023 Front Fender Liner Right Side

Description

2016-2023 Mazda CX-9 Front Right Fender Liner: Direct-Fit Replacement

Restore the original look and function of your 2016-2023 Mazda CX-9 with this front right fender liner for the passenger side. It is built as a vehicle-specific replacement for owners and repair shops who need a part that matches the factory design instead of a universal piece that has to be modified to fit.

Fender liners are often damaged in curb strikes, collisions or when tires rub on full lock, and many are lost entirely after front-end repairs. For other vehicles and positions, see our fender liners and splash shields. Replacing the liner restores the barrier between the wheel and the engine bay of your CX-9, which helps keep moisture and grit away from sensitive components.

Signs that the liner needs replacing include torn or missing sections, a liner that hangs down and rubs the tire, broken mounting tabs and missing fasteners. A damaged liner can also make extra road noise and let water spray onto parts that should stay dry, so it is worth replacing as soon as the damage is found.

Compatibility covers the Mazda CX-9 from 2016 through 2023. It is for the passenger side (right) of the vehicle. Partslink interchange: MA1249150, TK4856130A. Installing Your CX-9 Fender Liner

Most liners can be replaced with basic hand tools. Raise the vehicle safely or turn the wheels for access, remove the old liner and its fasteners, and clean out any built-up debris in the wheel well. This part uses a clip-on attachment, so in most cases no drilling is needed. Fit the new liner into the opening and secure it at the original mounting points, replacing any broken clips at the same time.

Inner fender liners are often overlooked, but they play an important role in protecting the engine bay and inner body from water, salt and debris. A liner that fits the factory mounting points stays secure and is less likely to rub against the tire. It is a good idea to check the opposite side and replace any broken fasteners at the same time.

Replacing both sides at once keeps the finish matched, and the Mazda CX-9 front left fender liner is available for the opposite side. While this area of the CX-9 is apart, it is a good time to check related parts such as the front right fender flare for the Mazda CX-9.
