Looking for a replacement front left door wheel arch molding for a 2015-2024 Ford Transit? Arch moldings are among the first exterior parts to get damaged on a working vehicle, especially on commercial vans that see tight loading docks and job sites. You can compare other options in our wheel arch flare replacements range. This replacement restores the trim around the front wheel opening and gives the side of the Transit a finished edge again.

Common signs that the wheel arch molding needs replacing include cracks along the edges, a chalky or faded surface, sections that have pulled away from the body, rattling at speed and missing clips. Leaving damaged trim in place usually makes things worse, because a loose piece can catch the wind, scrape the paint underneath or come off completely on the highway.

Fitment is listed for Ford Transit model years 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023 and 2024. It is for the driver side (left) of the vehicle. The OEM reference number is BK3Z61278L01AA. Partslink interchange: FO1290137. As always, confirm the part number and trim level against your vehicle before installation. If your Transit needs other work, our selection of Ford body parts and trim covers many more repairs.

Fitment, Installation and Care for Your Transit Wheel Arch Molding

Start by removing the old trim and any broken clips left in the body. Clean the surface underneath so dirt does not stop the new piece from seating. Line the new trim up with the original mounting points and secure it evenly along its length, then check that the gaps match the neighboring panels.

Exterior trim is exposed to sun, rain, road salt and car washes every day, so a replacement that follows the factory shape is the best way to get a result that looks right. Before installing, check the area behind the trim for loose or missing clips and any damage to the paint, so the new piece can sit flush and stay secure for years of daily driving.

Replacing both sides at once keeps the finish matched, and the Ford Transit front right door wheel arch molding is available for the opposite side. While this area of the Transit is apart, it is a good time to check related parts such as the 2015-2024 Ford Transit front left fender flare molding trim. If you are not sure about fitment, have your VIN and the number from your original part ready before you order.

When you order, double-check the model year, the position on the vehicle and, where shown, the OEM reference number. Matching these details is the simplest way to make sure the replacement arrives ready to install on your Ford Transit.

For a repair that looks right and fits the factory mounting points, this front left door wheel arch molding for the 2015-2024 Ford Transit is a straightforward choice. Order it with confidence once you have confirmed your fitment details.
