Door trim takes a beating from parking lots, gravel roads and winter driving. When the rear driver-side molding on a Trailblazer is damaged, the easiest fix is a direct replacement rather than trying to glue or repaint the old one. It is part of our wider selection of replacement door molding trim. This piece is made to follow the factory contour of the door so the gaps line up with the neighboring panels.

You will usually notice a damaged door molding before anything else: it may sit away from the body, flutter in the wind, show stress cracks or have lost its color after years in the sun. Replacing it early avoids further damage to the paint and the mounting points behind it.

Installation Tips and Fitment Checks

Start by removing the old trim and any broken clips left in the body. Clean the surface underneath so dirt does not stop the new piece from seating. This part uses a clip-on attachment, so in most cases no drilling is needed. Line the new trim up with the original mounting points and secure it evenly along its length, then check that the gaps match the neighboring panels.

Exterior trim is exposed to sun, rain, road salt and car washes every day, so a replacement that follows the factory shape is the best way to get a result that looks right. Before installing, check the area behind the trim for loose or missing clips and any damage to the paint, so the new piece can sit flush and stay secure for years of daily driving.

Many repairs involve more than one part, so it is worth checking the surrounding components while the vehicle is apart. For the opposite side of the vehicle, choose the 2021-2023 Chevrolet Trailblazer passenger-side door molding. To complete the repair, many owners also replace the 2021-2023 Chevrolet Trailblazer front left door molding trim.

When you order, double-check the model year, the position on the vehicle and, where shown, the OEM reference number. Matching these details is the simplest way to make sure the replacement arrives ready to install on your Chevrolet Trailblazer.

For a repair that looks right and fits the factory mounting points, this rear left door molding trim for the 2021-2023 Chevrolet Trailblazer is a straightforward choice. Order it with confidence once you have confirmed your fitment details.
